M. Todd Parker


Todd is a founding partner of the firm.  He maintains a diverse practice representing businesses and individuals in a wide range of complex commercial and employment cases.  Todd has successfully represented clients in state and federal court, arbitrations, and in various alternative dispute resolution scenarios. In addition to litigation, Todd regularly advises individuals and businesses on strategies for avoiding litigation and counsels clients on employment-related policies and best practices in the workplace.

Prior to co-founding Parker Pohl LLP, Todd was a partner at a noted litigation boutique in New York City.  Todd previously clerked for the Honorable Nicholas G. Garaufis in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York, and was a staff attorney for the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Todd has been recognized for distinction as a business litigator by Super Lawyers magazine.  In 2017, after several years of being selected to the Rising Stars list, Todd was selected to the New York Super Lawyers list, an honor given to no more than 5% percent of the attorneys in New York.

Todd has published law review articles in the Saint Louis University Law Journal, the Duke Journal of Comparative & International Law, and the U.C. Davis Journal of International Law and Policy. His law review article The Freedom to Manifest Religious Belief: An Analysis of the Necessity Clauses of the ICCPR and the ECHR has been cited in amicus briefs filed in the United States Supreme Court and in the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia.

Todd received his law degree from the Saint Louis University School of Law, where he graduated cum laude and was a member of the Saint Louis University Law Journal.
